(Bottom image) Research assistant Kay Noele helps install the ‘water layer’ of organza on the wall of the Textiles and Materiality cluster of Milieux, our studio. Visible beneath the watery blue cloth is a digital print on cotton of the aerial map of the Point onto which have been traced six shoreline changes, as indicated in source maps from 1801 to 1968. This map (research by Jacob Le Gallais) served as our maquette for creating the linen layers. Photos: Kathleen Vaughan
